Hours: 3 days a week (Flexible)
Salary: £21,000 – £24,000 (depending on experience)
The role
Oakfields Montessori School is a happy and vibrant independent day school in Upminster, educating boys and girls, aged 3 to 11. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated part time SENCDCo for (three days a week) who strongly believes in the values that make our school who we are. The successful candidate will:
- Have an up-to-date knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice
- Enjoy paperwork (as there will be a lot)
- Support teachers, parents and children with additional needs
- Lead interventions for identified children
- Tracks our SEN children’s attainment and progress
- Be organised, be independent and enthusiastic about the role
- Be a qualified teacher
- Preferably hold the NASENCO award
