Teaching Assistant

Payscale: Grade 3/ Point 4
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm (32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)
Actual Salary: c.£16,095 (FTE £21,210)

We are looking to appoint a 1:1 TA who can demonstrate a commitment to our school core values of:

You will need to be able to;
- Speak clearly; using concise language/ instructions
- Support behaviour for learning with clear boundaries and expectations
- Follow direction but also think creatively and ‘on your feet’
- Build professional relationships staff, pupils and parents
- Keep up with active pupils who benefit from regular movement breaks
- Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
Experience with pupils with ASD would be desirable but not essential. We can offer in house training and support for the right candidate.
