Temporary Maternity Teacher

Hours: 1.0 FTE (Full Time)

Salary: Teachers Main Pay Scale

Contract: Temporary (2 terms, possibly 3 terms)

Start Date: 01/09/2021


We are seeking to appoint a teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2021. The post will initially be for one school term but may be extended to a second or third term dependent on the post holder’s return date.

You will be responsible for the planning, assessment and delivery of the curriculum to a whole class. You will be accountable for pupil progress in your class during the time that you are in post. You will direct any curriculum support adults in your class. The post will be alongside two other year group teachers, under the direction of the year leader. You will attend staff meetings and fully engage in the life of the school, the same as any permanent teacher whilst you are in post.
