Part Time Teaching Assistant

Hours: 20 hours per week (8.30-12.30) or 30 hrs per week (8.45-3.15)/39 weeks per year

Salary: Grade 1/2, points 1-5. FTE £20,658 - £22,185 p.a. (Pro Rata Salary for 20 hours per week - £9,838 - £10,566 p.a.) (Pro Rata Salary for 30 hours per week - £14,758 - £15,849 p.a.)


Newtons Primary School is looking to appoint two caring, experienced Teaching Assistants from September 2021.

As a Teaching Assistant you will form part of a team of practitioners responsible for supporting the education and care of the children in the school. Your role will include advancing student learning; implement work programmes for individuals/groups and supervise physical/general care of students, including those with SEN; enable access to learning for students and assist the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.
