Administrative Officer required from September 2021

36 hours per week x 41 weeks per year

Grade 3 Points 5 – 9

Actual salary: £19,954 - £21,430 p.a.

Due to relocation, our much loved administrative officer will be leaving us over the summer break and therefore we need to appoint her successor. We are looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person who would like to provide a key role in our busy administration team, calm and reassuring presence is essential. A sense of humour is crucial too!

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and skilled in the use of Microsoft packages. You will be required to administer manual and computerised records, use our school information systems such as SIMS, sQuid, parentmail etc.

The Federation of Towers Schools comprises of an Infant school and Junior school, situated on the same site that are formally joined together in a successful and happy partnership. Our oversubscribed three form entry schools include an amazing nursery, where places are in high demand. The successful candidate will be a role model for our children demonstrating a love of learning, care for our school and have an eye for the smallest detail around our schools. We are a happy team who work hard together to achieve the best outcomes for the children in our care.

You will be flexible and adaptable and able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a key role within our school as you will be the public face of our school. You will be the first port of call to our families and children during the school day. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with previous school experience with in depth knowledge of SIMS.
