Science Technician

3 days per week including Fridays (21 hours) x 40 weeks per year

Grade: GLWC Scale 3 Point 5- 6 - £11,317 - £11,522 per annum

 We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to join our successful and friendly Science Faculty. The position will involve preparing resources, maintaining equipment and providing practical support for the science staff.

 

Previous experience as a science technician would be an advantage, but not essential. The most important qualities required are a friendly disposition, strong organisational and communication skills, together with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

 

A full and comprehensive induction programme is followed for all new staff.

 

Emerson Park is a successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Secondary school in the London Borough of Havering. We are set in pleasant surroundings on the edge of the green belt with close proximity to both countryside and central London. We are fortunate to benefit from talented and hard-working staff, supportive parents and committed Governors and enthusiastic students. The academy has a traditional ethos and enjoys a good reputation in the area.
