Learning Support Assistant (TA2)

Grade 1/2 Points 1 – 5, plus TA2 allowance

30 hours per week for 39 weeks per year

Actual Salary: £14,747 - £15,848 p.a plus £287 TA allowance

 

We are looking for someone to join our dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants to support children with learning difficulties on a 1 to 1 basis across the whole school (Nursery to Year 6) inititally this will be until 31st August 2022 and will be reviewed subject to budget availability. Candidates must have experience of working with children with SEND and SEMH. Experience of working with children with ASD is desirable. We are looking for someone who is caring and patient, has a positive outlook and has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. If you have good communiction skills, are friendly and resilient and have an apitude for working with children who have learning difficulties then please contact us to visit our setting.

The School is a 2 form entry Primary School, expanding to 3 forms over the coming years. We have our own Nursery accepting children on 15 and 30 hour placements. The School is well resourced and has a friendly supportive staff. We have enthusiastic, hard working children who enjoy learning. There is a strong partnership between governors, staff, parents, pupils and the local community. We value continuous professional learning, development and improvement.
