CLASS LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT - KS2

Hours: 28 hrs 45 minutes per week (8.30-12pm, 1.00-3.15pm)/39 weeks per year

Grade: Scale 2 Point 3-4

Actual Salary for above hours: £14,591 p.a.

Start Date: October 2021

 

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic learning support assistant to join our successful school to work with KS2 children.

Applications are welcome from candidates with experience of working with KS2 children and are qualified with NVQ level 2 or above.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Proactive, well-organised and willing to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other colleagues
  • Able to engage and enthuse pupils, encouraging independence in their learning
  • Passionate about supporting all groups of children in order to enhance the quality of their learning and raise pupil achievement
  • Confident in using ICT
