KS2 Midday Assistant

Hours: 6.25 hpw (1.25 hours per day)/38 weeks per year

Salary: Grade 1/2, points 1-5. Pro Rata Salary of £2,999 - £3,221 p.a. (FTE £20,658 - £22,185 p.a.)

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible


Harold Wood Primary School is looking to recruit a caring and committed individual to provide support during the lunchtime period.

A vacany has arisen in our school for a lunchtime assistant to join our lunchtime team and help to develop our school ethos.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting pupils during the lunchtime break.
  • Enforcing positive behaviour and positive social interaction.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they have:

  • A nurturing, though firm, approach.
  • A patient attitude towards pupils.
  • At least one year's experience working in a school setting (desirable).
