Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (8:15am - 12:45pm)
Grade: APTC 4 Point 7-10
Salary: £22,995 - £24,258 full time equivalent p.a (Salary will be pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
As part of the expansion of our school based nursery, we are looking to employ an additional member for the Early Years Team.
The Mawney Foundation School is a proactive, supportive, well-resourced primary school, with high expectations of all members of staff and pupils.
The school has also been graded as ‘Good’ in our last 3 Ofsted inspections (most recently in Jan 2020). The Head teacher and Governors are currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated and creative staff to join our enthusiastic and supportive team.

The successful candidate(s) will need to have the relevant qualifications, as well as an outstanding practitioner with a sound knowledge of teaching and learning strategies and able to deliver a structured and stimulating learning environment for all pupils in the Early Years setting.
They will need to have excellent interpersonal skills to enable them to work in partnership with parents collaborate effectively with the additional adults within their setting.
It is essential you have a sense of humour and a passion for learning, as well as a willingness to become involved in school and community activities.
