Contract: Temporary until July 2021

At Crownfield Junior, we believe in working as a team for the children that we are responsible for and care for. We believe that our children are at the centre of all we do and we encourage and support them to be the best that they can be. We treat the children as individuals and understand that their needs are unique to them.

We are looking for someone new, someone like-minded, to join our well-motivated, happy team. We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, organised person who has experience in supporting students with their learning both within the classroom and in intervention groups. Some cover may be expected during lunchtimes. Previous experience of working with young children, preferably KS2, is essential as is a good standard of Literacy and Numeracy.

Our Ofsted Report in June 2018 stated:

‘The school has a strong culture of care. Pupils are extremely polite and well behaved.  In lessons, they are engaged in their learning and listen to one another respectfully’.

We are lucky to be set in beautiful grounds. Our children are great to work with: polite, enthusiastic, hard working with a sense of fun!  We have a very stable staff who work together for the good of the children – they have a sense of humour too!  We are also currently expanding from a 3 form to a 4 form entry.

The LSA would work under the direction of the Senior Management Team, the SENCo and class teachers.

In these challenging times, we cannot offer you a tour of the school during the day but our children have put together a selection of photos for you to look at. I am also available to contact at any time during the day.  Please phone our reception on 01708 747070. You may also wish to look at our website and blog for further information.

Please apply online.
