Administrative Assistant
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.30am-3.30pm Monday - Friday/39 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 1/2 Point 3 (£21,408 pa) £16,568 pro rata
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to work as part of our friendly office team.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate good computer skills, have experience of a range of office and reception duties and be prepared to work in a busy office where ‘interruptions’ are an everyday occurrence.
Responsibilities include :
- Being the first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school.
- Using management information systems and/or paper based filing systems to enter, record and retrieve data, supply information in response to requests and make returns required by a variety of sources.
- Whole school resource management
- Administering First Aid – a qualification in First Aid or the willingness to attend training would an advantage
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible and readily able to respond to queries, resolve problems and adapt to the changing priorities of a school day.
