Learning Support Assistants required for September 2022 for EYFS/Nursery provision

30 hours per week

39 Weeks per year (to include attendance at INSET days)

Grade 1/2, Points 1 – 5 

Actual Salary: £15,164 - £16,127 p.a.

We are looking to recruit a key worker to provide support to the Nursery teacher and Early Years team and contribute to the smooth running of the nursery, delivering the best possible environment and highest standards of care and education for the pupils,

You will need to be a caring and dedicated individual prepared to join our hard working EYFS staff team who is committed to high standards. The post holder should have expertise and experience in working with children and relevant qualifications.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 or above
  • Enjoy working with young children and be passionate about learning;
  • Be able to engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge children
  • Work successfully as part of a team, accepting and acting upon advice and being proactive where appropriate
  • Be responsible for groups of children and/or conducting 1:1 activities
  • Show initiative
  • Have high expectations of attainment and pupil behaviour
  • Be flexible, hardworking and caring.
  • Be able to liaise with parents
