Are you ready to change the course of children's lives?

We are looking for great people to join the founding team at The Compass School, a small school for pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are growing and are looking for excellent teachers and support staff from Primary (Key Stage Two) and Secondary (Key Stage Four).

Come to our Recruitment Evening on 6th March from 4.30pm to 5.45pm at The Compass School (London Road, Romford RM7 9NX) to find out more.

We are looking for candidates with the motivation, resilience and determination to ensure that students make progress, improve their experience of education and prepare them to lead fulfilling lives.

We will educate young people between the ages of 7-16 who have a wide range of Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. Many of the pupils may also be on the Autistic Spectrum. The school serves a catchment area that covers Havering and surrounding areas of East London. The school will also be adding to our network of special schools, alongside Sir Bobby Robson School, Ipswich, The Bridge School, Ipswich and Churchill Special School, Haverhill and Sir Peter Hall School, Bury St Edmund’s.

You will be supported in your role by experienced special education leaders who will be available to offer advice and guidance as the school moves forward under their leadership.
