Hours: 33.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per year
Monday – Thursday 8.40am-4.00pm, Friday 8:40am - 3:20pm (with 30 minutes lunch)
Scale: Scale 2 points 3-4
Actual Salary: £20,978 - £21,294
Contract: Permanent

A Learning Support Assistant is required for an immediate start. The work will involve providing in class support and delivering interventions.
The hours will be 33.5 hours per week for 38 weeks a year plus 5 INSET days, a total of 39 weeks.
We are seeking someone who is highly motivated, flexible and organised who enjoys working with young people. Someone with an ELSA qualification or the willingness to complete an ELSA qualification is highly desirable. Experience with SEMH is also preferable.
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our very successful SEND department.
You will be working closely with the Director of Inclusion ensuring the students have a positive learning experience and supporting them to achieve their best outcomes.

- Demonstrate empathy and understanding for students with additional needs
- To work as part of a team
- Support the learning in a classroom
- Take active responsibility for improving standards of behaviour and attitudes to learning
- Act as a positive and proactive role model
