Teaching Assistant
Hours: 32.5 hrs per week (full time)/39 weeks per year (Term time only)
Salary: Grade 1/2, spinal point 2 -5, depending on experience. Pro rata salary of £20,054 - £20,966 p.a. (FTE £25,854 - £27,030 p.a.)
Contract: Fixed term

Required, an experienced, conscientious and committed Teaching Assistant to assist with the day-to-day organisation within the classroom as well as supporting pupils with special educational needs in their learning.

- have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Working with the support of qualified teachers you will:
- provide learning opportunities to meet the needs of individual learners, working with them 1:1 throughout the day
- work with children and young people who have complex needs, providing an appropriate level of emotional and physical support where necessary
- provide support to pupils who have communication difficulties
- assist in the development of pupil support plans
- lead small group activities to enhance the knowledge and skills of groups of learners who face similar challenges
- lead, assess and record the outcomes of interventions to evidence impact of and inform next steps, in discussion with the teacher
