Administrative and Finance Assistant
Hours: 18 hours per week / 39 weeks per year
Salary: Scale 3 Point 5 (FTE £27,030 p.a.). Pro Rata Annual Salary of £11,612 p.a.
Contract: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable Administrative and Finance Assistant here at St Mary’s.
Working alongside the Office Manager and School Business Manager, the successful candidate will join our office team to provide support to our children, staff, parents, visitors, and the wider community, in a professional and helpful manner. You will also be assisting the School Business Manager with financial aspects of the job.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a school office or similar environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as administrative skills
- Experience of using SIMS and FMS (although training will be given)
- The ability to work within a small team
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
- The ability to work under pressure and be frequently interrupted but be able to quickly get back on track
- Good organisational skills
- A good sense of humour
