Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (8:45am - 3:15pm)
Salary: Scale 2 pt 3-4 (FTE £27,729 - £28,125 p.a.). Pro rata salary of £18,199 - £18,459 p.a.
Contract: Permanent

The successful candidate will:
The role is primarily supporting children in class and in intervention groups, within and outside the classroom setting. The successful applicant will be flexible, versatile and have experience of supporting children in a school setting.
- be enthusiastic, confident, committed and able to show initiative;
- be experienced in supporting pupils at all levels of ability and ages;
- be able to support children both academically and with social and personal needs;
- be an effective communicator with pupils and staff;
- enjoy working as part of a wider team;
- possess good literacy and numeracy skills;
- have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and consideration;
The successful applicant will work under the guidance of the SENCO/Headteacher, and the class teacher, but also be able to show initiative.
