Finance Officer (Maternity Cover)
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week or Part Time 25 hours per week – Term Time only (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Scale 4 Point 7. Pro Rata Salary of £24,513 p.a. for 35 hours per week or £17,509 for 25 hours per week (FTE £29,346 p.a.)
Contract: Fixed Term for 1 year (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: Wednesday 11th June
St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to recruit a Finance Officer to work alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
We are seeking a well organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work independently and as part of a team. You will need excellent communication skills, the ability to work to deadlines and be competent in ICT.
Experience in financial administration is essential, and an understanding of school management information systems (FMS and SIMS) is preferred. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Main Duties will include:
- Processing of invoices
- Weekly BACS runs
- Monthly reconciliations
- Charge card reconciliations
- Petty cash reimbursements
- Budget reporting
- Invoicing hirers for lettings
- Capital & VASCA projects
