Hours: Full time 37 hours per week, split shift, 52 weeks per year

Come and join our vibrant school community in the heart of the newly developed area of Beam Park, Rainham. We are looking for a Caretaker to join our school opening in September 2025.
About the role:
As our School Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will be responsible for the security, maintenance, and general upkeep of the premises, including minor repairs, groundskeeping, and supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the school. This will involve split shifts. You will need to have a full clean driving licence as attending to call outs outside of normal working hours will be a requirement of this role.

We are looking for a reliable, proactive and dedicated Caretaker to join Primary Academy. The ideal candidate will have:
- A full clean driving licence.
- A warm, personable and professional manner with an excellent work ethic.
- Excellent practical skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Experience of working with machinery and tools.
- Physical fitness.
About Park Primary Academy:
Park Primary Academy is a small mixed community school which is based in Rainham within the London Borough of Havering. We are fortunate to be housed in a fabulous modern building which boasts large class rooms that provide a clean and spacious environment for our children to learn in.
