Nursery Nurse TA

Hours: 32.5 hrs per week (full time)/39 weeks per year (Term time only)

Salary: Grade 3, spinal point 5, depending on experience. Pro rata salary of £22,122 p.a. (FTE £28,521 p.a.)

Contract: Fixed term

Start Date: 1st September 2025

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic level 3 Nursery Nurse Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Required as soon as possible, a conscientious and committed qualified (NVQ Level 3) Nursery Nurse TA to assist with the day-to-day organisation within the nursery as well as supporting individuals and groups of children in their learning.

Parklands Primary School is a high achieving school and we aim to enable our pupils to achieve and develop as kind, caring individuals. The successful candidate will be hard working, experienced and enthusiastic. Experience of working with children in a school environment is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for a group of Key Children and carry out planning observations and assessments.
  • Appropriate supervision of children throughout the day.
  • Delivery of the EYFS framework as well as the planning and development of inspiring, enabling environments where children are engaged and challenged appropriately
