Midday Assistant

Hours: 7.5 hours per week x 38 weeks per year (11:45am - 1:15pm daily)

Grade: APTC 2 Points 3 - 4

Salary: £27,729  - £28,125 full time equivalent. Actual pro rata salary: £4,841 - £4,911 p.a.

To start: As soon as possible after September 2025

 

The Executive Head Teacher, Head Teacher, and Governors wish to appoint a Midday Dinner Assistant to join our enthusiastic and supportive team.

The school has also been graded as ‘Good’ in our last 4 Ofsted inspections (most recently in May 2025).           

The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, confident individuals with excellent interpersonal and behaviour management skills to assist and support in the supervision, engagement, and development of pupils during lunchtime, under the overall direction of the Senior Midday Dinner Assistant and the Head teacher.

Their work is primarily to foster good behaviour and participation of all the pupils, but also to promote pupil engagement in active playtimes, and instil high values, good morals, and the understanding and respect of others.
