Learning Support Assistant
Hours: 21.25 hours per week (4.5 hours per day) - (inclusive of 15 minute unpaid break). Required for 5 days per week - 08:30 – 13:00/39 weeks per year
Salary: Scale 2 depending on experience (FTE £27,729 - £28,125 p.a.) Pro rata salary £14,063 - £14,264 p.a.
Contract: Permanent
Start Date from 1st September 2025.

We are seeking to increase the capacity to our school support team and are looking for an inspiring Learning Support Assistant with the necessary skills/experience or willingness to learn to work with our children. We require someone who has patience and will nurture the children in their care, get to know them but also be firm and consistent with expectations.
Support and training will be provided by the ‘in-house’ support team as well as through the local authority.
The successful candidate will:
Be enthusiastic and dedicated
- Be a qualified Teaching Assistant
- Be caring and energetic
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Have a good standard of English and Maths
- Be willing to attend training
