Grade: Grade 3, Point 5-9. Actual Salary £28,618 - £30,292
Hours: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks p.a., daily split shift
Contract: Permanent

We require a Caretaker to join our team.
We would like to hear from dedicated candidates who have experience in a school setting and have good maintenance and DIY skills. Our
Caretaker will be organised, forward thinking and always have the needs of the school, children and staff at the forefront of their mind.
We require the successful candidate to be reliable, punctual and work well as part of a team.

About the role:
As our School Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
You will be responsible for the security, maintenance, and general upkeep of the premises, including minor repairs, grounds keeping, and supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the school.
This will involve split shifts.
You will need to have a full clean driving licence as attending to call outs outside of normal working hours will be a requirement of this role.

We are looking for a reliable, proactive and dedicated Caretaker to join Primary Academy. The ideal candidate will have:
- A full clean driving licence.
- A warm, personable and professional manner with an excellent work ethic.
- Excellent practical skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Experience of working with machinery and tools.
- Physical fitness.
