Hours : 26 hours per week , 39 weeks per year (8.15 - 3.45 Tuesday to Friday)

Grade: Grade 4 Points 10 - 15

Salary : £31,611 - £33,987 per annum (£19,615 - £21,090 pro rata)

Contract : Permanent

Start Date: January 2026

The successful candidate will teach music to whole classes across the school, covering for PPA time (2.5 days) plus additional staff release or absence cover (1.5 days).

 

We require a dynamic, positive, hardworking person who:

  • Has recent, successful primary school experience teaching whole classes
  • Has a passion for Music
  • Has excellent skills and knowledge in this specialist area
  • Is self-motivated with high expectations of self and others
  • Can use his/her own initiative, showing resilience.
