Hours: 8.40am – 3.10pm (30 hours) / Monday-Friday / Term time only

At Oasis Academy Pinewood, we’re recruiting a team of Learning Support Assistants to support the education and care of children with SEND needs. It’s an exciting time to join the Pinewood family as a group where you can shape your work and set top-quality standards for our SEND provisions.
We’re looking for a positive and friendly team player, with a real passion for holistic education. Working collaboratively with class teachers, you will be responsible for creating rich, inclusive and balanced educational environments for the children you work with directly, in addition wo working with the wider class group as needed. You will expect the best of our students and give them your best in return. Most importantly, you will be committed to and skilled at helping children achieve, no matter what their starting point is.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Consistently showing up for all students in a positive, enthusiastic and motivating way, and supporting them to develop these qualities
- Leading the learning support for identified students with SEND needs, both autonomously and under the direction of the class teacher
- Building strong relationships with families to boost achievement, attendance and wellbeing
