Caretaker

We are looking to appoint a positive, reliable and hardworking caretaker to support our experienced site team at Drapers’ Academy. We need someone who will ensure the smooth running of the school, take pride in their work and ensure that the environment is safe, clean and tidy. The role will require you to have good common sense, strong practical skills and experience of working under your own initiative as well as part of a team.
The post holder responsibilities include: security of the school, including opening the site at the start of the day and carrying out general school keeping duties – including painting, minor repairs, maintenance, some cleaning and porterage duties. The post holder will be required to report to the Site Manager. It is essential that the appointee is a real team player who is willing to work with others to provide a safe and happy working environment for staff and children.
The role could be either a full time role or there is flexibility around part time hours for the right candidate.
