Breakfast Club Supervisor 

Hours: 9.75 hours per week/39 weeks per year (07.15am - 09.00am Monday to Friday) 

Salary: Grade 3 point 5-9 £29,436 - £31,158 FTE (£6,850 - £7,250 pro rata)

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: 13th April 2026 

 

We are looking to appoint a Breakfast Club Supervisor who is enthusiastic and approachable to join our caring team. .We endeavour to make the children’s Breakfast Club experience both positive and active.  

 

The successful applicant will be a team leader of the school staff who are responsible for pupil supervision.. They will help to engage, motivate and encourage students to participate in activities, whilst also promoting good social interaction.  They will need to be calm, approachable and have a positive outlook.  

 

Key responsibilities include:
•    Daily supervision of the Breakfast Club, developing and maintaining high standards throughout to ensure the welfare of the children at all times.
•    Ensuring children have access to appropriate activities to support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
•    Maintaining the Breakfast Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene before, during, and at the end of each session, and being responsible for all Health and Safety matters in the club to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all who use and work in the club.
•    Supervising the safe escorting of children to ensure their wellbeing at all times.
