Midday Supervisor

Salary: Scale 2, Point 3. Pro rata £4,164 p.a (FTE £28,617 p.a.)

Hours: 6.25 hours per week x 38 weeks per year

Contract: Permanent 

Start Date: 13th April 2026 

 

The Head teacher and Governors wish to appoint a midday supervisor to work alongside our caring team of midday supervisors and to make lunchtime a positive and worthwhile experience for all of our children.

The successful candidate will be expected to foster good behaviour and to encourage pupil engagement in active playtimes as well as to ensure the safety of our children.

We are looking for someone who:

  • enjoys working with children
  • is able to follow policy and procedures
  • is punctual, approachable, caring and consistent
  • has a positive outlook and can work in a calm manner at all times
  • has good organisational and communication skills
  • is committed to safeguarding

Previous experience as a midday supervisor is not essential but desirable.
