EYFS Teaching Assistant
Hours: 32.5 hours per week x 38 weeks per year, term time only. 8.30am - 11.30am/12.00pm - 3.30pm)
Grade: Scale 2, point 3
Salary: £21,652 per annum pro-rata (based on a full time salary of £28,617 p.a.)
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 in the first instance, with the possibility to extend.
Start Date: April 2026
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge within an excellent School in Upminster? Have you had previous experience working in EYFS or an infant school?
Are you a creative and ambitious with previous experience of working with young people? The candidate would preferably be Level 3 qualified and have a passion for working with young people. It is essential that the successful candidate has previous EYFS/ infant experience or has worked within a Nursery Setting.

We are looking for a person who is calm, kind, patient and who:
- Has good knowledge of the EYFS Framework
- is cheerful, positive and enthusiastic about working with children
- is experienced in communicating with young pupils and those with learning difficulties
- is an effective communicator with pupils and staff
- is able to build and maintain effective relationships
- is committed to working as part of a team
- Applicants must be confident as they will be responsible for a group of key children
- Applicants must have previous experience of supporting EYFS/ infant Children.
- Role requirements: Teaching Assistant Qualification desirable
