We are looking for a School Office Administrator to start ASAP. The school will work around notice periods, where possible.
This School Office Administrator role would be ideally suited to someone who has already AT LEAST one year school-based professional experience, and ideally with knowledge of school databases (SIMS, in particular).
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
-Experienced multi-tasker who can work in a busy, professional environment
-Assured skills typing with speed and acuracy, typing newsletters, Governors minutes and reports
-Outstanding face-to-face communication skills
The successful candidate must know how to work with a wide range of IT systems (Word, Excel) and will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the school website. To carry out ad-hoc duties as requested by the School Leadership Team, and or the School Business Manager. The duties above are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder may be required by the Headteacher to carry out appropriate duties within the context of the job, skills and grade
The school is based in The London Borough of Havering and is a three form infant school. The office team are a strong united group, that work cohesively with one another and create a great working atmosphere to be involved in. The workload is evenly split across the whole team with individual responsibilities being designated to each member. The school are looking for the successful candidate to also be adaptive and hard-working. We offer on-site parking, however, there are strong transport links.
