At Crownfield Junior, we believe in working as a team for the children that we are responsible for and care for. We believe that our children are at the centre of all we do, encouraging and supporting them to be the best that they can be. We treat the children as individuals and understand that their needs are unique to them.
We are looking for someone new, someone like-minded, to join our well-motivated, happy team as an Assistant Head Teacher. Successful applicants must already have current experience of a School Leadership role and be able to support the vision and strategic focus to enhance the education of all pupils in the school and across the federation.
We are extremely proud of our school and the broad curriculum we offer. We are a three/four-form entry and partner with the Mawney Foundation School as the Learning and Achieving Federation, through which we exchange good practice and resources to continue our journeys forward.
Our Ofsted Report in July 2023 stated:
'Pupils at this school are kind, polite and hard-working. In lessons, they listen to their teachers and to each other.'
'Pupils with SEND are quickly identified and are very well supported to study the same broad curriculum as their classmates. Teachers and leaders work together to identify strategies that best meet these pupils' needs.'
'Safeguarding is prioritised and leaders are tenacious in securing support for the most vulnerable pupils.'
'Staff feel well-supported by leaders.'
