We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate leader who:
- Has proven experience in senior leadership, ideally as a deputy or assistant head
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and learning in the early years and able to develop this in others
- Has strong communication and people skills and is able to lead with emotional intelligence
- Has a natural flair for challenging and empowering others to continuously improve and strive for excellence
- Understands how to use data effectively to raise attainment and support all learners
- Has an in-depth knowledge and experience of leading effective school improvement and a strong track record of accelerating performance
- Is passionate about the transformative power of education, cares about children and is willing to challenge complacency in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners
- Values teamwork and is eager to contribute to a supportive, collaborative school community
- Demonstrates commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
About the Role
As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in leading curriculum and standards across the school. Reporting directly to the Head teacher, you will lead by example as an outstanding classroom teacher, inspiring quality teaching and learning. You will take responsibility for strategic planning, quality assurance and school improvement initiatives. You will also deputise for the Headteacher when required, supporting the smooth running of the school.
