Harold Wood Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Reception / EYFS Leader to join our caring and ambitious primary school in Havering.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, forward‑looking and motivated practitioner who is committed to giving every child the very best start to their learning journey. The successful candidate will lead our Reception year group with creativity, warmth and high expectations, ensuring that children continue to make great progress while staff embrace new ideas and innovative practice.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an inspirational and reflective EYFS practitioner with a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- Is creative, enthusiastic and forward thinking, with the confidence to explore and embed new approaches to learning
- Has a proven ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring consistent, high‑quality provision across the Reception year
- Is committed to high standards, inclusion and pupil wellbeing, placing children at the heart of everything they do
- Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues
