Trainee Science Technician/In Class Support

Required asap

Permanent Contract

Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 8.00 am to 2:30 pm inclusive of one 30-minute unpaid break. 39 weeks per year, term time plus inset days

Grade APTC 2, Spinal Points 3 & 4. Pro-rata Salary £14,751 per annum, inclusive of 5.3 week’s paid holiday

 

We are looking to appointment a Trainee Science Technician to join our team. If you are flexible, self-motivated and a real team player and looking for a role that is busy, varied and interesting, we would like to hear from you.

Ideally the post holder would be a graduate of science or have experience in a similar role. The ability to make basic science equipment or repair electrical components would be an advantage but not essential as full training can be provided. On reaching the top of Grade APTC 2, the post holder will move to Science Technician Grade APTC 3.
