Class LSA (Teaching Assistant) - Reception

Hours: 27.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (Monday to Friday 8:30am - 12:00pm, 1:15pm - 3:15pm)

Grade: APTC 2/3 Points 3 - 6 (depending upon experience)

Pro rata Salary: £13,522 - £14,266 per annum

Contract: Temporary - preferably from 1st October 2019 until 31st August 2020

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join our Reception team. Rise Park Infant School is a very successful and happy school where children are well behaved and keen to learn. Staff are friendly and supportive.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Is cheerful, positive and enthusiastic about working with children
  • Is an effective communicator with pupils and staff
  • Is competent in the use of Computing
  • Possesses good Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Is passionate about supporting all groups of children in order to enhance the quality of their learning and to raise pupil achievement

An awareness of the EYFS curriculum would be an advantage.

The successful candidate must have relevant experience and be qualified to NVQ level 2 or above or hold an equivalent child development qualification.
