Vacancy Description

Drapers’ Maylands Primary School is seeking to appoint an Office Manager.

 

The Office Manager is responsible for:

  • being the public face of the school.
  • interfacing with the school community and visitors.
  • providing information and services in dealing with and resolving enquiries and complaints.
  • overseeing the daily administration of the school office including line managing administrative staff.
  • all administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

The successful candidate will be comfortable in ensuring workflows are effectively managed with all deadlines met and work produced to a high standard. It is essential that the candidate possess outstanding people skills as they will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is essential, and with the SIMs package is desirable.

 

Judged as ‘Good’ with Outstanding features by OFSTED in 2018, Drapers’ Maylands is the newest primary school in Harold Hill, and a proud member of the Drapers’ Multi-Academy Trust.

 

Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged. This position is for 36 hours per week, term time only plus one week during the school holidays.
