Permanent Reception Teaching Assistant required for January 2020

Hours: 26.25 hours per week x 38 weeks per year (8.45am-12.00pm, 1.10pm - 3.10pm)

Grade: Grade 1/2 points 1-5 plus TA2 Allowance

Salary: £12,116 - £13,013 actual salary + £235 TA2 Allowance per annum

 

Parsonage Farm Primary is held in high regard within the local community and we are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support one of our Reception classes. 

We follow the Read Write Inc phonics scheme and our Teaching Assistants are fully involved in the teaching of phonics and reading. 

The post involves supporting a class of Reception children with their learning both in the classroom and outside in the outdoor classroom. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed applicant who has:

  • experience of working with children (essential)
  • English and Maths Grade C GCSE or equivalent (essential)
  • relevant teaching assistant qualifications (desirable)
  • knowledge and understanding of Read Write Inc. (desirable)
