Salary: £17,319 - £19,973 based on a full time annual salary of £24,462 - £28,215
Hours per week: 30 hours per week, 8.30am – 3.30pm . 39 weeks per year

Scargill Infant School is seeking to employ an Administration/Finance Officer to join our friendly and supportive school commencing as soon as possible in January 2020. We can offer an excellent working environment, and are committed to providing a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment for our pupils. Scargill Infant School is part of Hornchurch Academy Trust which offers excellent opportunities for training, support, career development and sharing best practice amongst its five schools.
The person appointed will be expected to assist with all aspects of financial and HR administration for the school, working closely with the Head of School and the Trust Chief Financial Officer. The successful applicant will be expected to carry out a range of other administrative duties to support the smooth running of the school office.
You will be expected to have a methodical and organised approach to the role and be an approachable and adaptable personality with a good sense of humour!
It is highly desirable that you will be:
- Experienced of working within a school or similar environment
- Experienced in working with school systems i.e. FMS/PS Financials/SIMS
- Experienced in working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
These skills are not essential as training will be provided. Applications from all candidates with finance and administration backgrounds will be considered.
