MIDDAY ASSISTANT REQUIRED
Permanent – 6.25 hours per week
5 Days per week, 1.25 hours per day agreed timings between the hours of 12.15 pm – 1.30 pm x 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Grade: Grade 1/2 Points 3 to 5
Actual salary: £2,989 – £3,098 p.a.
We are looking for a committed and reliable mid-day assistant to join our team of lunchtime support staff. Initially this will be to work with our Junior pupils and may include some 1 to1 support for pupils with additional needs but you will need to be able to work confidently with pupils across the primary age range.
You will contribute to making lunchtimes happy, productive and safe for all of our children including assisting pupils with their medical, physical and care needs. We’d love you to be positive, to initiate and sometimes referee games! The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with children, be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. You must be punctual, approachable, caring and consistent, with a calm and positive manner at all times.
