Hours: 36 working hours per week x 52 weeks per year
Salary: Scale 3 (pt 5-6). Actual salary £21,591 to £21,981 p.a.
Start Date: Required ASAP
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person who would like to provide a key role in maintaining our school site, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.
You will be working as part of our Site Team but will also be required to work independently.
Duties will include:
- Lock and unlock the school and carry out security checks on the building
- Maintenance of property and grounds to a high standard including liaising with contractors
- Minor repairs such as carpentry, plumbing, PAT testing, painting and cleaning
- General portering duties
- Willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety and First Aid
- Cover for lettings, which will be paid as overtime
Shifts will be 6am-2pm and 10am-6pm and will be on a rota basis.
Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder.
You will have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and access to the Schools Advisory Service that offers a range of wellbeing services that includes physiotherapy, weight management classes, counselling services, medical checks and many more.
