Bursar

Hours: 14 hours per week (2 days per week)/41 weeks per year (term time plus 2)

Salary: PO2 points 29-32. Actual Salary of £12,291-£13,293 p.a. (FTE £33,945-£36,711 p.a.)

Contract: Temporary

We are looking to appoint a Part-Time school Bursar to set, support and advise the head teacher and governors in the monitoring of all the school budgets and accounts.

If yes, then this may be the role for you!

A large and friendly primary school is looking to appoint a School Bursar to start in January. The successful applicant will have previous school experience, (including facilities management, setting budgets, financial management (including reporting), governance and financial controls, record keeping etc), be proficient in Integris (or similar), FMS, seek and acquire additional funding. Liaise with leadership and ideally have worked in a school setting.

The role will involve managing and overseeing the administration of school finances.

This is initially a temporary post for one year and would suit a candidate seeking flexible employment. 

Main Job Responsibilities:

- Providing excellent financial and administrative services to the school

- Maintaining accurate computerised records and systems for pupils and staff

- Invoices, purchase orders, reconciliations, and school fund management

- Experience handling data and data protection regulations
