We are seeking to appoint a talented and ambitious Curriculum Leader of Maths to join our Maths team. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom teacher who is highly motivated and have a real passion for Maths and for developing the subject and colleagues. All Curriculum Leaders have responsibilities both within and beyond their department and therefore the role provides outstanding professional development opportunities as well as providing an excellent opportunity for an ambitious colleague to develop their leadership skills further.

The standard of teaching throughout Marshalls Park Academy is incredibly high and the Maths Department is no different. Working passionately to inspire a real love and interest in Maths for all students, we understand just how important a role we have to play in their future successes and what an important role the school has to support our teachers. The Maths department has a team of 8 specialist Maths teachers, and from September 2020 will be based in our stunning new build. The results have consistently been around/ above national average in terms of progress and attainment. This is a wonderful opportunity to shape and lead the next phase of the Departments journey following the promotion of the previous post holder to an Assistant Headship.
