LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Hours: 27 hours and 5 minutes per week/39 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 1/2 points 3 - 5. Pro Rata Salary £13,317 to £13,800 p.a. (FTE £20,835 to £21,591 p.a.) Plus a TA2 allowance of £390 pro rata p.a.
Contract: Fixed term until August 2020
Start Date: Monday 24th February (or as soon after)
Hilldene is a large three form entry primary school with a 90 place nursery.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking Learning Support Assistant for a fixed term until 31st August 2020. The successful candidate will be required to work 1:1 with a year 2 pupil with moderate social communication and language difficulties. The role may include supporting the child's personal and hygiene needs.
Our new Learning Support Assistant needs to be:
- able to work independently and use their own initiative to organise activities and tasks;
- able to manage groups or individuals from a class under the direction of the class teacher
- a good team player with a willingness to demonstrate and share information and expertise with other.
