The Royal Liberty School where “pupils are well behaved, respectful and courteous” and “parents value the sense of community, which is palpable throughout the school” (OFSTED February 2019).
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our friendly and supportive faculty. English is a very popular subject and students achieve GCSE results well above national average (80% grade 9-4 and 65% grade 9-5). We are very proud of this success and are looking for a new teacher to join our aspirational team.
This post would be very suitable for a newly qualified teacher looking for their first appointment. NQTs are fully supported by an induction programme delivered by the school and the Empower Alliance.
We take a collaborative view of learning where good practice is shared through a structured INSET programme within school and across the Trust.
As part of the Priority Schools Building Programme and Local Authority expansion we will be undergoing a full refurbishment of the school in 2020.
Royal Liberty School is a small comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys, located close to Gidea Park Station. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and the excellent behaviour of the students.
Our results have shown impressive improvement over the last 3 years with the majority of subjects consistently above national average;
