SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS TA
Hours: Full time (minimum 36 hours)
Salary Grade: Grade 3 (SCP 8 to SCP 9) or Grade 4 (SCP 10 to SCP 15) term time only
Salary will be dependent upon experience
Grade 3: £19,405 to £19,753 (FTE £22,779 to £23,187)
Grade 4: £20,111 to £21,987 (FTE £23,607 to £25,809)
Contract: Permanent

We wish to appoint an ambitious and dynamic Teaching Assistant (SEND) to work 1:1 with pupils with significant learning needs. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join us, where you can make a real and lasting difference. - Cognition & Learning
- Language & Social Interaction
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- Social Communication Difficulties
- Sensory Processing
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed applicant who:
- has experience of working with children (essential) with specific needs in class, small groups and in 1:1 situations
- has English and Maths Grade C GCSE or equivalent (essential)
- has NVQ Level 2 (or above)
- is firm, kind, patient, consistent and approachable
- is friendly, ready to join in and engage with learning with the children
