Salary: GLWC 5. Points 12-15
Hours: 9-00 until 3-30. Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year
Contract length: 1st September 2020 – 31st August 2021

Benhurst Primary School has a fantastic opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our ambitious and rapidly improving primary school from September 2020. This position is initially until August 2021 however, the position may be extended to a permanent position if successful.
We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic and hard-working person who has secured the HLTA status to join our caring and dedicated team to make a difference to our children’s lives. We are a school with a very friendly, warm atmosphere where children are well-behaved and motivated learners.
We are looking for a practitioner who:
is versatile and committed to a high standard of Learning and Teaching for all children;
understands the importance of AfL and uses this in their teaching;
effectively uses ICT to enhance the quality of learning;
is thoughtful and caring and can get the best out of children;
is motivated and able to engage with other professionals to raise standards and enrich the curriculum;
enjoys their work, has a good sense of humour and is open and flexible to new ideas.
