Salary : £21,210 pro rata
Hours per week: 12noon -1pm , 38 weeks per year

Whybridge Junior School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant, who will also join the Midday Supervision team at lunchtime, to join our friendly and vibrant school. You will join a strong and supportive team of staff within an Academy that is committed to providing a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment for our pupils and staff. Whybridge Junior School is part of Hornchurch Academy Trust which offers excellent opportunities for training, support, career development and sharing best practice amongst its five schools.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant/Midday Supervisor to work 5 days a week from 9.30am – 1pm. The role will involve in-class support for teaching and learning from 9.30am – 12 midday and Midday Supervision during the lunch hour from 12 midday – 1.00pm
The successful candidate will:
- have good Maths and English skills
- be passionate about teaching and learning, and striving for the best outcomes for children
- be able to work creatively and supportively in the classroom
- be a reflective practitioner who is keen to learn
- be positive team player, with a ‘can do’ attitude
- have a good sens of humour
