STUDENT WELFARE OFFICER

Contract: Temporary role (ASAP to 23rd July 2021)

Start Date: Starting as soon as possible

Hours: 32.5 Hours per week/39 weeks per year. (Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm)

Salary: Scale 3 point 5-6. Salary range £17,131-£17,441 (actual salary range for the above hours)

 

Are you:

  • Able to administer first aid
  • Able to deal with medical issues, procedures and policies
  • Well organised, highly efficient and able to take initiative
  • Able to provide confidentiality at all times

We have an exciting role for a Student Welfare Officer available to join us. Duties will include administering first aid, managing the medical needs of students and staff, completing care plans and ensuring accurate accident records are maintained.   You must have an ability to build professional partnerships with both parents and students alike, along with possessing excellent IT skills and be able to manage competing priorities. You must also be prepared to assist with the running of a busy reception area as and when required.
