Broadford Primary is part of The Learning Federation. In our Federation with Mead Primary we believe that a child’s socio-economic background should not be a barrier to success. We passionately believe that the children of Harold Hill deserve the best education we can provide: our schools’ results place us significantly above the national average despite the challenging context.
We achieve this because we expect all staff to make the education of their pupils their first concern, and be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.
Are you empathetic and passionate about improving the life chances of our pupils and can:
- INSPIRE our pupils to overcome the challenges of deprivation,
- Demonstrate and model INTEGRITY through your professional behaviour,
- Have a direct and positive IMPACT on pupil learning and education everyday.
What will the post involve?
Working alongside our Home School Support Worker and Inclusion officer, you will be part of the Federation safeguarding team, work with our most vulnerable pupils and families and liaise with the Education Welfare Officer regarding the attendance and punctuality of pupils.
You would be expected to complete the necessary paperwork for CIN and CP meetings, therefore a high standard of written communication would be expected. You would be working in partnership with a range of agencies and the role would require a highly professional approach to very sensitive and confidential family information.
If you think you have the skills, knowledge and attitude to make this post a real success, please call Lois Nicholls on 01708 342880 and arrange a visit to come and see us. Visits to the school are highly recommended.
